Tanka...Yamaboushi 山法師a

in between
the celestial and the terrestrial
yamaboushi
receives sunlight
... atoms sparkling

Yamaboushi is "cornus kousa" in Japanese,
whose English name is Japanese doogwood.
When it is translated literally, it is Mountain Bonze.
It is said that cornus kousa is called Yamaboushi
because the round inflorescente in the center
looks like the head  of a monk and
four pieces of white involucre around the inflorescente
looks like the hood of a monk.
