| 道の駅おがち/ Michi-no-Eki Ogachi March 21th. 2017 It was raining. 小野小町の出身地といわれる秋田県湯沢市小野にある＜道の駅おがち＞です。 屋根の形は平安時代の市女笠を模しています。 This architecture is Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Ogachi, in OnoYuzawas City, Akita Prefecture, Japan. According one theory, it is said that Ono-no-Komachi, who was one of the greatest Waka/ Tanka poetsin Heian Period, was born there. |
The shape of the roof is modeled after
Ichimegasa in Heian Period(794-1192 A.D.),

which is the straw hat worn by women.

立春大吉 降雪やみて一服す

which is from Zen temple's word.
