Tanka ...

don't be in vain
even hue of fallen
dead leaves
of the unknown tree in fields
... shining as they leave

Till yesterday on tree
Today fall on ground
Yesterday All were ours
No one on today
...

in the red sea
of autum leaves
drowning
my self in selflessness
without you

1
so
amazing
so beautiful
when they fall
small buds as they emerge
gift for us to see

2
Every day
if we allowed to be here to see
is so fine
just need to

clear our eyes
and open our ears
and enjoy the beauty all around us

3
We cry sometimes
as leaves fall
enjoy the beauty
as they are here
and rember their beauty
when the
beautiful leaves fall
Always in our hearts

4
Never frown
awake with a smile
sometimes difulcuit as I may know
but If first thought is a smile
will make kindness grow

Tanka ...Wednesday Water

for a moment …
white splashes
flow down
to the basin
Mikaeri Fall gathers time

※This tanka was published at Akita International Haiku , Senryu and Tanka,
Tanka by Rika Inami 16. I translated my original Japanese tanka into English.
Japanese word 回顧 means"recollection", "retroapection"  "to look behind"or
"to review the past". I took this photo the end of  October at Dakigaeri Valley,
in Semboku City, Akita, Japan.

The force of nature.
Ever moving
The beauty of the earth..

Tanka...First Snow/ 初雪 20181126a

even though
blooming with bowing
due to first snow ...
a spirit of red rose
may overflow in five dimensions

※I composed this piece when I saw the first snow Nov. 23 th. 2018.
We have it late of the night of 22nd..
