文月の朱色にもゆる望月は鎖のごとく鉄塔うつす
July’s full moon
reflects the power tower
in vermillion
like a chain binding them
never to be separated

for a while
I may have been caught
in the darkness of hell

is it meaningful or not?
being asked about my suffering
amid the case
don’t I think of justice of karma
yes, I do

lotus root
in the soft mud
your green leaves
reaching out to sun
my praying hands
raven...
the dark shadow
covers a nest
a mother
always remember
wind chimes
in the soft breeze
reminding me
sweet kisses
we share
small pond
moon face
all wrinkled
my summer dress
dry in the breeze
rice fields —
heavy stalks bowing
to the road dust
raindrops falling
on your chest
a Milky way
fireflies in night sky
moon slowly dipping
in the river
we flow
along the pond
white lilies
emerging
above the water
I'm taking a breath
upcoming storm
a scent of the raindrops
the flowery ring
you place on my head
a kiss

Mt.Yashio…God sees
all at the crystal spring

水霊は涼風よぶかぎらぎらと緑光(て)る樹々にはか爽やぐ
the water spirit
calling for a cool breeze--
trees’ leaves
with the glistening sun
suddenly sway

Mirror of Truth --
see me as I am
in the limpid water
Botsumeki Spring
where the spirit returns

炎天のこころぐき日に思ひ出づるボツメキの水 鈴鳴るごとし
in the blazing sun--
my mind is out of breath
I think of
Botsumeki Spring
like a bell ringing

みめぐみの神の泉か八塩山ふところ深く雪を解かしむ
with a blessing --
is it a miraculous spring
given by God?
in the deep heart of Mt. Yashio
piled-snow melts into water
