雪さりて農の仕事人かたりあふ農道にたつ鳥海の嶺

こちらのは、本日、秋田インターナショナル俳句ネットワークに
掲載していただいた1首です。
詠ったのは先月4月11日の朝の散歩時の風景を見てのことでした。
その清しさは格別なものでした。
散歩の帰り道、私は気まぐれにいつもと違う道をとりました。
山道を通る道ではなく平坦な漸く雪消が終わった田んぼが広がる農道、
と少し歩くと、数人の男の人たちが田んぼを見ながら語り合っていました。
農業に従事する人たちのようでした。
雪が田んぼに無くなって、いよいよ大地の生産シーズンの到来、どのように農作業していこうかと私には語り合っているように見えました。
私の歩みはだんだんその人たちに近づきすれ違うところで、私たちは「おはようございます」と双方声を掛け合いました。
こうして、すれ違ってから歩みを進めたあとで、視線を上げ見上げると真っ白な鳥海山の雄姿が見えたのでした。
This
tanka was published today in Akita International Haiku Network.
I composed it on April 11 last month
while taking a morning walk.
I felt exceptionally refreshing.
On my way back from the walk, I took
a different path on a whim, not through the mountains, but along a flat farm
road where the snow had finally melted away, and the rice fields were spreading
out.
As I walked a little further, I saw
several men looking at the fields and talking to each other.
They thought that they were farmers.
The snow has gone, and the season of
production from the earth has finally arrived.
They seemed to talk about the way of
farming.
I walked closer and closer to them
and passed them; we said "Good morning" to each other.
After we passed each other, I looked up and saw the majestic white figure of Mt. Chokai.
