短歌連作三首「影と魂の間」
:

The Premio Internazionale di Arte Letteraria ‘TRA L’OMBRA E L’ANIMA- PABLO NERUDA ‘ Winner. PRIMO PREMIO AUTORE STRANIERO ex aequo.

Title <BETWEEN THE SHADOW AND THE SOUL>

— A Sequence of Three Tanka—

These poems are Japanese traditional “Tanka”

written in classical one-line style and translated into a five lines style in English.

:

肉朽ちて生のカオスに還りしも魂（たま）の彼岸に醒めにけるかな

:

though the body dies,

returning to chaos of particles—

still the soul may awaken

across the eternal threshold

on the far shore of being

:

カラスしき啼く橋のうへ霧のなか誰(た)が霊魂(たましひ)の昇りゆくやも

:

crows calling above

a mist-veiled bridge—whose anima

rises in the fog?

a silent farewell hidden

in the breath between two worlds

:

ぬばたまの喪色にしづむ薔薇一輪あやしの底ゆ吉凶語る

:

a single rose

in pitch-black mourning hue

speaks of

good or ill fortune

from the deepest mystery

Prodigy Magazine March 2026 FUTURE に掲載された短歌2首

PRODIGY MAGAZINE March 2026, THE FUTUREに私の短歌が掲載されました。

掲載された短歌は英語版のみでしたが、原短歌が日本語ですので、日英語でシェアさせていただきます。尚、編集の都合上、1首目と2首目の空行がありませんが、短歌は2首です。

また、こちらのフォト短歌は今回のシェアのために作成したものであり、掲載されていません。ご了承お願いいたします。

My two tanka were published in PRODIGY MAGAZINE March 2026, THE FUTURE. 
Although the tanka poems were published in the English edition only, as the original is in Japanese, I am sharing both the Japanese and English versions here. Please note that, due to editorial constraints, there is no blank line between the first and second poems, but there are indeed two tanka. Furthermore, the photo tanka shown here was created specifically for this post and has not been published in the magazine. Thank you for your understanding.

 

―Before Spring－

 

幾代へば呪縛の枷の解かれむや春とほく忍の雪中の華

 

How many generations

until the chain of spell break?

Spring

still far away, a flower endures

buried in snow

 

 

谷間（たにあい）に降り積みしむる白雪は深きをめぐり花を咲かしむ

 

White snow

falling, freezing, piling

in the valley―

in its deep turning,

flowers come to bloom
