氷柱に2首

雪上に氷柱(つらら)を落とし並べをり厚き氷(ひ)に込む雫は重し

 

icicles

dropped down and arranged

on the snow…

drops being loaded

into the thick crystal are heavy

 

寒中の氷結もまた人をとめ結びの妙の縁(えにし)あるらむ

 

in deep winter

freezing also makes

me stop

it may have

the ethereal knot of fate
